Tulsa's Robbins Named as Finalist for Kodak/WBCA All-America Team

Tulsa senior Jillian Robbins has been named a finalist for the 2007 Kodak/WBCA All-America Basketball Team for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, as announced today by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) in cooperation with Eastman Kodak Company.Robbins, a 6"1' forward from Spring, Texas, is one of 52 finalists, who are voted upon by WBCA-member coaches in each of the eight WBCA geographical regions, and is now in the running for selection to the 10-member Kodak/WBCA All-America Team. The All-America candidate is a repeat finalist, as she earned Honorable Mention honors last season.
This season, Robbins averaged 19.7 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.27 steals and 1.83 blocks per game, while connecting on 52.5-percent of her field goal attempts, 34.8-percent of her three-point field goal attempts and 65.0-percent of her free throw attempts. Robbins notched 20 double-doubles, claimed the school's only triple-double and scored in double figures in 28 of 30 contests during her senior campaign.
Robbins was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year, and picked up C-USA first team and C-USA all-defensive team accolades this year. She led the league in rebounding (11.6) and steals (3.27), and was third in scoring (19.7) and blocked shots (1.83). She currently ranks nationally in scoring (#21), rebounds (#7) and steals (#7).
The Kodak/WBCA All-America Basketball Team for NCAA Division I will be announced at the Kodak/WBCA All-America Team Press Conference at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Center on March 31, 2007 at 9:45 a.m. (ET) in Cleveland, Ohio.
